	Charlie Rich Jr. I've been a singer professionally since 1974, when I first began doing recording sessions. I've been fortunate enough to have sung with Smokey Robinson, Dan Fogelberg, Ronnie Milsap, The Texas Tornados and Freddy Fender. Over the last couple of years I've been in a band with Randy Meisner (of the Eagles) and Bill Swan, i.e., Meisner, Swan & Rich.
I've recently dedicated myself to getting in the best shape of my life and take what I do more seriously than I ever have. I've begun doing a tribute show to honor my late father's music-Charlie Rich "The Silver Fox". He was a famous country star and his voice was legendary. It's been the hardest thing "vocally/physically" I've ever had to do. I was amazed at how athletic (rangey) his music was and how effortless he made it sound. He's a tough act to follow, but at least by training properly, I know I'll be the best I can be and do his musical tribute justice. The tips in this course are based on sound concepts and the audio portion gives it a more personal realtime quality. Thank you so much for the song evaluations. This is what I've been looking for for years: Real coaching. I've had singing teachers, but it always went to classical repertoire (Arias, and oratorios, etc.), and not the material I was actually doing onstage. Somehow, the intricacies of IL Balen just did not translate to Lover Boy's Turn Me Loose ;-) This is great stuff, and I really cannot express by writing how much I appreciate this wonderful service you are giving me. Singing the hymns in church Sunday...headed up for that high E...it went up like an arpeggio...I remembered to smile and find that resonance spot in my head and hit it soundly! I went through the lessons quickly the first time (about a week ago). Now I am going through them slowly repeating them every few days. I can already tell a difference in my breath control. I can also hit those high notes more easily.....In the past I have always shyed away from soprano parts because I thought my range limit was B (middle of staff). Now I feel comfortable at a C or D. Soon I may extend my range to an E! lin3330
